Agency Description: OutFront Minnesota is the state's leading organization serving the GLBTA communities. OutFront Minnesota provides a wide variety of programs and services throughout the state. We seek all the rights and responsibilities of first-class citizenship for GLBT Minnesotans through our public policy efforts. We build a strong sense of collective purpose and strength through our community organizing programs. We work to insure that all GLBT Minnesotans have safety and support through our Anti-Violence Program. In our Anti-Violence Program, OutFront Minnesota offers advocacy services to victims of hate/bias crimes as well as victims of domestic or sexual violence. We have advocates available 24 hours per day to provide safe alternatives to victims of violence. We have a 24 hour domestic violence crisis line, 24 hour advocacy services for GLBT sexual assault survivors and 24 hour hate/bias crime reporting and support.In addition to our crisis lines, we provide short term supportive crisis counseling and peer based support group services. Finally, our legal program provides legal referrals and education to victims of crime or discrimination.
