Agency Description:

The St. Louis Anti-Violence Project, as a member of the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP), serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, HIV-affected, and straight-allied victims and survivors of violence within the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. By serving as an advocate and providing community outreach and education, the Project seeks to enable survivors to regain their sense of control and assert their rights in an empowering manner, change public attitudes that tolerate, insulate or instigate violence, and promote public policies designed to deter such violence.

We provide a phone line for confidential LGBT- and HIV-related hate/bias crime, sexual assault, and domestic violence reporting and documentation, crisis intervention, and referral.
